Bryan Au
Bryan AuI was 100% Raw for over 2 years, now I am in San Francisco where it can be very Very COLD! So I do sneak in some warmed up soup or some steamed foods, but I am currently 90% Raw and 10% Cooked but ALL organic! Also Gabriel Cousens M.D. states that for most people 80% Raw and 20% Cooked Organic is the MOST optimal diet. The thing I want to also dispel is the myths and fantasies, I tell people look no one is completely 100% anything, it just is not possible, NO ONE is totally 100% Raw or 100% Cooked, we are all a mix and combination, I have met people who said they were 100% Raw but I saw them eating cooked Thai Food and other things, and it is ok just make sure it is organic, I think a lot of people think it is mythical and legendary to be 100% Raw and I think it is awesome but it is not totally necessary,

Tony Thorpe
Tony ThorpeI WAS INSPIRED IN 1995 BY DR. LORRAINE DAY'S VIDEO "CANCER DOESN'T SCARE ME ANY MORE." SHE HAD BREAST CANCER AND WENT ON A RAW FOOD AND JUICE DIET AND HEALED HERSELF. SHE LOOKS FANTASTIC. IT WASN'T UNTIL FIVE YEARS LATER WHEN I PLAYED GOLF WITH A RAW FOODIST THAT I DECIDED TO GO FOR IT. HE GAVE ME THE NATURE'S FIRST LAW "THE RAW FOOD DIET" BOOK AND I WENT RAW THAT DAY. THAT WAS JANUARY 26TH 2000. I MET DAVID WOLFE AND STEVEN ARLIN IN LONDON IN THE SUMMER OF 2000 AND WENT TO THE FRESH SUMMER PARTY WITH THEM. I ASKED THEM FOR A JOB AND THEY SAID YES.

Joseph Custer
I start the day with grapefruit. I might have another piece of fruit before noon. If I’m not busy preparing a lot of foods for others, lunch is usually a veggie wraps or a sandwich . If I am making a lot of food I’ll eat whatever I’m preparing. My first year raw I ate the sandwich daily. It’s made with flat bread, seed cheese, avocados and tomatoes. I love this sandwich, it will keep you full all afternoon. For dinner I have a lot of greens, usually a big salad. Sometimes I will have a green drink or bowl of energy soup if I feel my body needs to rest. Over the past three years I have refined my diet to fit my body and lifestyle.

Alissa Cohen
Alissa CohenI was born on June 17th 1967 and raised in Marblehead MA. I’m a nutritional counselor, polarity therapist, and personal fitness trainer. I have certifications in energetic bodywork, holistic counseling and nutrition, but opening my health food store many years ago and then working with people through a business I created after that, I gained insight into the physical, emotional and spiritual effects of food. I was experimenting with raw food before much information was out there. I began to teach myself and work with many well-respected teachers and trailblazers in the raw food movement

Juliano Brotman
Juliano BrotmanWent veggie, then vegan and just naturally moved more into raw as time went on and then the vegan glue diet was so bad there was no where else to go. No one trained me, I trained them all. When I got here there was only wheatgrass and hummus. No supplements. Deficiencies come from things we've taken in causing deficiencies We have everything, we're fine. Never get sick, there's no such thing. You're cleansing. Understand cooked foods are poison metal and make delicious raw foods. No drugs but I have done them in the past, shrooms are fine a couple times a year.

David Wolfe
David WolfeCurrent staples cannot be ascertained as it changes everyday. I really never eat the same things everyday. Maybe because I am traveling so much and what is available always changes. I drink green vegetable juice whenever possible, usually celery based ?that s a staple. My favorite foods include: wolfberries, durian, blueberries, eggfruit, mamey, cacao, celery hearts, maca, incan berries, purple corn extract (#1 in antioxidants), pure synergy (superfood blend), coconut oil, hempseed oil, macadamia nuts, parsley, romaine hearts, mint leaves, jackfruit, New Zealand honey, celtic sea salt, algae oil (DHA), MSM, seeded grapes, wild coconuts, peruvian olives, avocados, good-quality flaxseed crackers, lemons, spirulina....

Shazzie
ShazzieMy diet recently changed as I became pregnant! I now have I felt a little alien controlling this mother -ship! Out went all the stuff I've eaten with joy over the past four raw years, such as avocados, dark green leafy vegetables, marinated vegetables, concoctions of all kinds, and even salads. In came masses of fruit, orange juice (thankfully I can still enjoy and digest green superfoods and maca), and even some cooked food!

Ibo Gencay

I started eating more raw foods when I read the books of Dr. Bruker, Germany’s most renowned health food doctor. That was about 10 years ago. Dr. Bruker, who himself was 90% raw for most of his life with some butter and cream in his diet ( he died two years ago at age 92 with all of his original teeth), teaches a diet of mostly raw foods and whole cooked foods. He healed thousands of people from severe diseases. What I like about him is his humanity and tolerance towards people. He knew people still like cooked foods, so he taught which cooked foods to eat, so as not to get heart attacks, cancer, diabetes, or obesity. This is what I like and want to continue also.

Doug Walsh
Doug WalshI eat a just a few pieces of fruit each day. I eat almonds, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, flax seeds, sunflower seeds. I mix and match the nuts and eat different ones each day. I eat a large variety of veggies each day. My dinner is always a big salad. I supplement with spirulina, Healthforce Nutritionals Vitamineral Green, MSM, Vitalzyme. I wake up and eat breakfast in my sleeping bag. I then get out of my bag, get dressed and take care of any necessary bodily functions. :o) I start walking. I walk all day with short breaks for lunch and snacks. I get to a nice spot for dinner. If its cold I eat dinner in my bag. After dinner, I start walking again. I walk 5-10 more miles after dinner and set up a camp for the night. I then sleep soundly. :o)
