Beet Smoothie Bowl

Do you have a little one in your life who just refuses to eat their veggies? Smoothies may be your best tool. This recipe by Jackie of The Minnie Chef manages to sneak in beets and a couple handfuls of spinach for extra fiber, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.


At a glance
2 cups frozen pineapple chunks
1.5 cups frozen strawberries
1 ripe banana
2 small beets
3/4 cup orange juice
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 tablespoon hemp hearts
1 handful of spinach or kale (optional)


Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
