raw_pizza_crust

A super easy and quick raw pizza crust recipe that actually tastes awesome and is a perfect base for raw pizza because it has a very neutral flavor with just a hint of Italian pizza spices & now the rest is for you to choose your toppings!

rainbow-lasagne-with-heirloom-tomatoes-mushrooms-and-castelvetrano-olives This lasagna is a great dish to introduce at such gatherings. It is fresh, light, fragrant, and incredibly colourful. It's always said that the more colours you have on your plate, the healthier is your meal. This lasagna is just that, nourishing.

 onion_veggie_bread

This is a fabulous version of the popular onion bread that every raw foodie has tried. Since I don't like onion much, this suits me perfectly! Found on Gone Raw. Sometimes I just use 1 onion and sub extra zucchini. I like to add a little salt as I find it a bit bland with only one tablespoon of tamari. Play around to see what you like.

Gruyere is a bit too pungent to eat by itself, so the juicy pears do a fine job of flattering the raw cheese with their unforgettable freshness.
 raw_carrot_oat_bread
This bread isn’t very sweet which is good because its suppose to be a bread! The prunes give it just enough sweet flavor. It tastes a little “bready” from the oats, and I think the salt lends it a lot of flavor, too. It’s a very mild, very basic bread upon which you can stack all sorts of toppings, dips, fruits, and veggies.

Here's a great snack to be able to have a small get away from fatty foods.

lentil_hummus-burger A gluten free raw burger that is very simple and a great meal replacement for something a little better than the usual. Get started with raw the right way!

portabello-pizza-no-cheese-raw-vegan

Thank Young&Raw for these portobello pizzas are a lot of fun and super easy to make. You can have them vegan style and top them with daiya cheese or eat them raw without it! Even if you’re not a mushroom fan, the other flavours take the wheel, so you won’t really taste them.

Let's give Hannah Mendenhall a big thanks for a new way of snacking. She's an amazing raw chef & you can find more of her versatile recipes here - http://www.rawfoodrecipes.com/details/hannah-mendenhall.html.

raw

it’s easy to get tired of smoothies, which don’t always offer much in the way of satiety and texture. If you’re exploring more raw breakfast options, I really suggest giving these guys a try! They’re delicious and oh-so-quick.

This is a sweet cinnamon granola that is great as a breakfast food or a snack. Soaking the granola will give it a burst of beet color & a fun way to snack healthy.

Sheleana from Young & Raw tells all to "Leave the cold pressed olive and coconut oil in the cupboard because this recipe is totally oil free! Yes, it’s a bit high in fat since we’re using coconut meat as the base but we’re talking about the good fats here. Not to mention coconut is super healing and nourishing for the body. At first glance, this Pad Thai looks pretty impressive but what I love is that it really doesn’t take much time to prep and you can also bring it to pot lucks as a share dish."

Young & Raw tells us that " this recipes is super quick to make and it’s also kid friendly (I would probably void the maca though). We’re combining vanilla, cinammon, maca and blueberry to create a delicious harmony of flavours. Buckwheat is fairly inexpensive when you buy it in bulk so I really enjoy using it for breads and cereals."

Young & Raw thinks that "Pizza night is on with this recipe! Most raw food recipes are actually pretty easy to pull off once you get the hang of them, so I’d like to encourage you to give this one a shot. Raw breads may seem complicated, yet they really only take about 20 minutes in the kitchen to put together and then you’re just waiting for the dehydrator to do it’s thing. I made a super quick pizza sauce recipe to go along with this raw pizza and you can modify the toppings any way you like but I really enjoyed the combination of flavours here. I’d say minus the 5-6 hours dehydration time for the breads the night before, this recipe took me about 10 minutes to whip up for 3 people. You can even store raw sauce in a sealed jar for a few days and make extras for later."

Karolina says that her "Strawberry Chia recipe is super simple, it has only three ingredients (strawberries, chia and agave). You can also spice it up with your favorite super foods. I love to add purple corn, acai berry powder or hemp to a strawberry recipe like this one, as it blends nicely in color and taste."

If you're trying to find a great dinner raw recipe. Look no further. This is a great recipe for you and your family to try if you're new to raw food or not. With the flavors used, it makes this recipe is a complete mouth waterer.

Can a delicious meal actually aid in detox? With this recipe it can! Christian Bates shares with us, "Yes, you can detox and feast too! How do you want your burger uncooked: well done gourmet or rare nutrition? How about both! I’m talking about an organic raw plant-based burger recipe that not only satisfies the heartiest of stomachs but nourishes and detoxifies your body."

The two dressings included within this recipe work really well together or you can divide your bowl half and half with smoked avocado cumin on one side and balsamic tahini on the other. This recipe was inspired by a culinary creation from Blossoming Lotus Cafe in Portland, OR. You can lightly steam and blanch the cruciferous vegetables or keep them raw, it is up to you.

Who doesn't crave a crunchy and delightfully sweet bowl of granola once in a while for breakfast? This is the perfect basic granola recipe, with the added unexpected flare of coriander spice. Hemp milk is a great alternative to almond or any other nut milk because the seeds don't require soaking and blend up extremely well. Straining isn't even a necessity if you are running low on time but it will ensure the smoothest milk possible.

These cool cucumber sandwich bites are both fresh and satisfying and are perfect for a Spring picnic. The bread recipe was inspired by Meredith Frantz’s rye bread in the very helpful, and free, ebook, Profoundly Raw.

Learning to make a really great raw paté is a useful skill to have when it comes to raw food preparation. Patés are so versatile and can be added to salads to transform them into a more filling meal. They also work great as a dip for veggie crudité or flax crackers, or as a sticky spread to use in place of rice in raw sushi wraps. This particular recipe is amazing on it's own and also works as a great base recipe, the options really are endless as far as what can be added. You can easily add different spices and fresh herbs to reinvent things and create new flavors. Soaking your seeds before hand makes the paté much more digestible and also gives it a fluffier, softer consistency.

Carrot pulp, ground sesame seeds and flax, fresh herbs and spices all rolled up into yummy little falafel patties! To acquire your carrot pulp simply make a large batch of carrot juice and enjoy. This is actually a nut-free recipe and the base of carrot pulp really makes this recipe a lot easier on the digestive system. The tahini sauce is super creamy and tangy and makes a delicious salad dressing in its own right.

Savory and saucy this dish uses both kelp and zucchini noodles and is dressed up with an Asian inspired creamy, spicy macadamia avocado sauce. The addition of snow peas, sliced broccoli and asparagus add a nice seasonal touch to this recipe. Everything here is raw aside from the roasted bell peppers which can be omitted if you wish (just add in a bit more fresh bell peppers). Another option would be to use a few tsp of chipotle pepper seasoning for a nice robust smoky flavor. Raw noodle dishes are always a hit because they are so easy to prepare and can be made in such a variety of ways. Zucchini and kelp noodles are both very neutral in flavor and will take on the dynamic flavors of any sauce.
