Cleansing Spring Juice Recipe

Usher in the spring with this juicy, zesty, cleansing, revitalizing, and overall amazing recipe by Brandi Rollins of Raw Foods on a Budget! The juice is beautiful, refreshing, delicious, and is bursting with phytonutrition thanks to a combo of red cabbage (rich with anthocyanin polyphenols, as well as Vitamins A, K, C, B6 and B1, folate, potassium and manganese), fresh pineapple (rich with vitamin C and manganese, as well as B-complex vitamins, folate, and digestive enzymes), and green apples (another good source of vitamin C, and phytonutrients that help to regulate blood sugar). At a glance
2 cups
1/3 head of red cabbage
1/3 of one whole pineapple, fresh (skin removed)
2 medium green apples (or 3 small green apples)
1  thumb-sized piece of ginger
1/2 medium lemon


Juice all ingredients and enjoy! Share this recipe with your friends!

Additional Tips

Any standard juicer will work just fine.

If you do not have a juicer, you can blend all of the ingredients and then strain out the pulp using cheesecloth or a nut bag.
