Lentil Hummus Burger

Description

lentil_hummus-burger A gluten free raw burger that is very simple and a great meal replacement for something a little better than the usual. Get started with raw the right way!

about 8-9 burgers
1 cup sprouted lentils, soaked for 30 minutes (this is the brand we use)
2 tbsp chia seeds
1/4 cup fresh basil
1/4 cup + 2 tbsp beet hummus (find recipe here) or you can use any hummus of your liking
1/2 tsp sea salt
1 tsp yacon syrup (optional)
 

Methods/steps

 Place all ingredients into food processor except chia seeds. Pulse till combined.

Than add in the chia seeds and pulse a few more times till it holds together.
scoop into any size ball you like; we used a cookie scooper to measure ours.
Place tray of burgers into dehydrator and dehydrate at 105 degrees for a 2 hours on one side than flip and dehydrate another 1-2 hours, or till desired dryness you like in your burger.
