MSM (Methyl Sulfonyl Methane) is a naturally-occurring form of dietary sulfur found in fresh
raw foods that are involved in the cycle of rain. MSM is deficient in
foods grown in greenhouses or in foods grown through irrigation. It
assists in multiple functions in the body.
Sulfur is one of the five elements of life and is needed to form
crucial blood proteins and amino acids. When our diet lacks MSM, the
cells become rigid and lose the ability to flex back. These are cells
that are associated with aging. In the body, MSM softens leathery
internal tissues by rebuilding connective tissue with elastic sulfur
bonds. This is how MSM lives up to its reputation of building collagen
and maintaining healthy joints. This is also why MSM increases
flexibility and helps relieve arthritis and other joint and muscle pain
and is excellent for recovery from athletic injuries.
Because of its collagen-building properties, MSM softens old marks
and scars, smoothes skin, makes thick lustrous hair and strong nails.
MSM makes the tissues more permeable so that they may move nutrients in
and toxins out with greater ease. MSM has a remarkable effect at
neutralizing foreign proteins (i.e. allergens, toxins, parasites)
making it anti-inflammatory.
MSM works particularly well in conjunction with vitamin-C rich foods. This
MSM comes to you as a white crystalline powder - the best method. It is
created when DMSO (Dimethyl Sulfoxide) oxidizes. DMSO is a powerful
solvent created as a by-product of the wood and natural gas industries.
DMSO and MSM have been used and studied for years. Our MSM is
pharmaceutically pure and contains no fillers, extenders, binders or
any other additives. Experience this supplement as part of your raw
food personal care lifestyle.

A study on methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) was published in a medical
journal-the April 2002 issue of The Journal of Alternative and
Complementary Medicine. This study details the effects of MSM on
seasonal allergies. The study was conducted by the GENESIS Center for
Integrative Medicine and the American Institute for Biosocial &
Medical Research. It details how MSM, a form of organic sulfur, helps
people with seasonal allergic rhinitis (SAR), which is commonly known
as hay fever. Fifty people participated in the study. They were given
2,600 mg per day of MSM for 30 days. Within the first week, these
participants showed significant signs of improvement, which continued
to strengthen as the study proceeded. |
