Working with local indigenous farming communities in the altiplano highlands of the Andes mountains we have re-discovered this ancient almost extinct Pasankalla variety of Red Quinoa. Quinoa contains more high quality protein than any other grain. It is a complete protein and easy to digest. It has a light delicate nutty flavor. You can sprout this and use in pilaf, eat it plain or use in your favorite cracker or granola.
