We are so glad to finally source out some chemical free, organically grown young green coconuts from sunny Florida! These coconuts stay fresh for about 2-3 weeks after you receive them. They can also be kept at room temperature for this time period. These coconuts may not be as sweet tasting as the hybrized Thai coconuts but this is how nature intended them to be. Pure and simple.

Organically Grown Young Green Coconuts - We get these coconuts from farms in sunny Florida. These are grown organically without any pesticides or chemicals and watered with sea water for extra nitration. We will soon introduce rock dust and marine phytoplankto to these farms so they can grow super coconuts for us so we can bring them to you!
Taste: Slightly sweet, very clean and refreshing
Meat: We offer these very young (water only), and slightly mature (water and coconut meat). You can also get a mixture to try.
Uses: Drink as is, both in cooked and raw recipes, coconut kefir.
Pros: Organically grown, easy to puncture hole to get water out. Shipped daily. Available year round.
Cons: A little hard to crack open to get meat out but simple to learn. Not as sweet as Thai Coconuts.

Brown Mature Coconuts - Brown or mature coconuts are commonly sold with the already brown dried husk removed. The meat has become more firm and opaque white. It has little or no water inside.
Taste: Very much like coconut
Meat: Hard, best grated
Uses: Decorate desserts, grind into flour.
Pros: Intense coconut taste and high in good fats.
Cons: Hard to crack and take meat out. Not used much in raw food recipes.
